LarsonAllen Enhances National Health Care Practice

LarsonAllen, a nationally recognized top 20 CPA firm, announces the expansion of its health care practice into the Dallas region with the relocation of health care principal Troy Langsdale. He was previously at the firm's Minneapolis location. 

"We see great opportunities in the Texas market, and I am eager to begin serving our clients in this health care community," says Langsdale.

Langsdale specializes in providing assurance services and business consulting for health care organizations, specifically continuing care retirement communities, licensed nursing facilities, senior housing, home health care, and hospitals and health systems. He has extensive experience with traditional audit and accounting, reimbursement and tax services for health care providers, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)-financed organizations, and nonprofit entities.  

Langsdale received his Bachelor of Science degree in business from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management. He is a certified public accountant, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA). Langsdale is a founding member of the Future Leaders Council of the National Investment Center (NIC) and belongs to the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).


NuStep Featured on Lifetime Television Show

On Thursday, Oct. 15, 2009 at 7:30 a.m. (ET/PT), NuStep Inc. was featured on the Lifetime Television program The Balancing Act in a segment about arthritis and exercise.

The segment, "Fitness With Arthritis: Transforming Your Life," discusses why exercise is beneficial in managing arthritis and includes a demonstration of NuStep's T5XR Recumbent Cross Trainer. The T5XR, which NuStep launched in September 2008, earned the Arthritis Foundation's Ease-of-Use Commendation in late 2008 for its accessibility, low-impact workout and other arthritis-friendly features.

Steve Sarns, NuStep vice president of sales and marketing, appeared on the program, along with Kristin Coleman, director of personal training and fitness at The Villages, an active retirement community in central Florida.
