CRL Senior Living Communities has introduced two new programs, Seniors In Touch and iBraincercise, that empower community residents to make social networking and tablet computing a part of their daily lives. These programs are part of CRL's ongoing mission to administer its Life Enrichment Pillars, which help residents thrive by offering them the latest in healthcare innovation.
Seniors In Touch is a computer terminal that combines touchscreen technology and social networking software to enhance communication between seniors and their families. The communication system simplifies e-mail, video calls, photo sharing and web browsing into one application that gives seniors the ability to easily connect with their loved ones.
iBraincercise gives seniors access to iPad-based programs that are proven to effectively increase quality of life through brain stimulation. CRL residents employ iPad applications to help offset the effects of Alzheimer's and dementia in an interactive and cognitively beneficial manner.
