The NewCourtland School of Practical Nursing celebrated its first graduation recently, marking the successful preparation of 20 students aspiring licensure, employment and service to the community as LPNs.
The graduation highlighted the achievements of the inaugural class which included the induction of 14 students into the National Federation of Licensed Practical Nurses Honor Society. Five former employees in the NewCourtland Network were among the graduates including class valedictorian Anna Dmwoska, who previously served as a therapeutic recreation (TR) director at Germantown Home. Anna and 13 others have passed their State Boards to date and two are now employed as LPNs.
